Best hotels to stay in Kuta Lombok
Our favorite spot on the island is Kuta Lombok because of its super relaxed atmosphere and lovely surfer’s vibe. The town itself is not big, but there are plenty of cozy bars and great vegan restaurants. Only a short bike ride away, you’ll find some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches of whole of Indonesia. We ended up staying for 4 nights in Bamba Capsule Hotel which is a perfect choice for couples on a budget (the comfiest double bed dorm rooms) and it’s located right on the main street. If you love the vibes of Canggu in Bali, you’ll definitely love Kuta Lombok too!

Best hotels to stay in Senggigi, Lombok
Senggigi is the main tourist hub if Lombok where you find the most choice of accommodations, from luxury and beautiful boutique resorts to affordable hotels and hostels. Even though Senggigi is the busiest place in Lombok, the atmosphere is still very relaxed and it has some beautiful beaches where you can enjoy stunning sunsets. In town, you’ll find lot of great restaurants, bars and souvenir shops which makes it a perfect place to stay and explore the surrounding areas or hop on a boat to the nearby Gili Islands.

Best hotels to stay in Senaru, Mount Rinjani
Whether if you want to hike up the crater rim of the active volcano Mount Rinjani or just want to explore the beautiful nature and waterfalls in the north, Senaru is the perfect place to stay. It’s a very small local village with a few hotels and nothing really to do, but it’s the perfect getaway for hikers as it’s located at the base of Mount Rinjani. We stayed at Rudy Trekker and booked the Mount Rinjani trekking with them. Rudy Trekker is in our opinion the best organization and place to stay in Senaru with a lovely swimming pool perfect to recover after your hike.
